TWO huge online leaks predict Apple will equip its flagship iPhone 5S with a FINGERPRINT scanner when it's released later this year.
They have also predicted the Californian tech giant will offer consumers a "budget iPhone" option at a cheaper price than its top-of-the-range model.

The scanning technology would only feature on the 5S, and is likely to be used to access the device, eliminating the need for a PIN number.
Pictures of the eagerly-anticipated handsets ? which are already thought to be in production ? have been let slip by the seperate online sources.

One set of snaps shows fresh silver 5S handsets and parts on the factory production line.
The other set claims to show details of the budget model, which is made of colourful plastic and is the same size as the previous iPhone 5. No other details are yet known about its specifications.

Apple hasn?t confirmed or denied either of the leaks, instead sticking to it?s long-standing policy of keeping quiet until the day of release.
But information that comes out around the time of production tends to be reliable because more potential leakers have access to the phones in the factory.

Other details released say the 5S device will have a huge 12 megapixel camera, and be made from a smooth, moulded ?liquidmetal? aluminium case.

It is also thought the device could get Near Field Communication (NFC) ? a feature enabling users to share information by bumping their phones togther.

The technology for NFC has been around for some time, but has never featured on an iPhone before.
The 5S could also have a faster processor than the iPhone 5 and 2GB RAM.

The screen for the 5S will stay the same size ? at 4 inches ? but will now feature technology called IGZO which will help conserve battery life, if the rumours are to be believed.
