In simple language, the Personal Development means increase our ability to achieve our mission, aims, goals, personal life accomplishments etc and finally achieve Supreme Success in our life.
Generally, we have two ways for long time or sustainably to be highly successful in our life and ultimately achieve our Supreme Success:
? 1st way: To be already Supernatural Being, Personal Incarnation of Supreme Power, Highly Empowered servant of Supreme Power, Eternal associate of God etc. In this part, not so mater why, what, how, when, where etc They do, anyway They are by laws on nature bound be Supremely Successful.
? 2nd way: The nicely follow Balanced and Healthy lifestyle, which include the permanent lifelong Personal Development. Self Improvement is not just sentimental thing; this is sincere science, about what we already speak in article ?The Scientific base of Personal Development?. In this ?2nd way? for our Personal development is really metering why, what, how, when, where etc we do.
So many times we can catch our self by noticing again and again, that we acting whimsically in some concocted way and finally end up in some trouble or new one. As Albert Einstein reminding us, ?Problems cannot be solved at the same level of awareness that created them?. Personal Development, Work-Life balance, Balanced and Healthy lifestyle means regular, continuous, endless efforts to stabilize, balance, harmonize our personality with laws of nature, with internal and external self and naturally and gradually reawaken up in new more Balanced and Healthy lifestyle.
In this article, we tend to help us for our Personal Development by giving simple test ?Test to know ? if I am Supernatural Being or not?, that mean:
A. If I am Supernatural Being, than I can do what, how, when, where etc I like and anyway I will achieve Supreme Success.
B. If I am not Supernatural Being, then by wisely following rules and regulations of Personal Development, Balanced and Healthy lifestyle, Work-Life balance I ultimately bound to achieve Supreme Success and personally experience happiness, blissfulness and knowledge forever in any kind of external situations. As Viktor Frankl encourages us, ?The greatest of all human freedoms is the freedom to choose in any given set of circumstances?.
Right now, less than 2, 5 max 10 % of us are Supernatural Beings empowered by Supreme Power and sometime any of us can reawaken on this platform. That mean, only 2, 5 max 10 % of us can achieve our higher goals even of cost of neglecting laws of material nature, laws of modes of nature, laws of Balanced and Healthy lifestyle. Supernatural Beings, able wisely use given Supernatural or Mystic power for long time in Their day-to-day life, like fly in the sky, go through the walls, in needful situation for multi-actions They can freely mutilate present body, for unlimited time stop eating, stop drinking, even stop breathing and same time physically, mentally, spiritually acting with Supernatural power. For everyone else of us, who not Supernatural Beings, recommended respect and follow laws of nature, laws of Balanced and Healthy lifestyle. On extend, in which we are respect and follow these laws, on that extend gradually we can achieve our higher goals and ultimately Supreme Success in our life. Moreover, Balanced and Healthy lifestyle is proper way for Personal Development and all of us can come up to the level of Supernatural Beings, in which we be able to control peacefully and not being distracted by our five senses and mind, and this ability can grant us Supreme Success. By this Lord Buddha and so many others, Personal Development and Spiritual Teachers mean ?Conquer Yourself?.
Ability control and not being distracted by our five senses and mind are much higher Supernatural Being Power, than such inferior supernatural powers as eight kinds of perfection of Personal Development in system as Ashtanga-yoga. Some of these powers of such yogis are to become smaller than the smallest, greater than the greatest or lighter than the lightest, he can achieve anything he likes, he can create even a planet, he can establish influence over anyone, etc. Such powers, life cases and methods to achieve it are listen in different spiritually reviled scriptures like Bible, Bhagavad-Gita, Koran etc.
For example in Srimad-Bhagavatam 11.15.3-9 it is reviled, ?The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: The masters of the yoga system have declared that there are eighteen types of mystic perfection and meditation, of which eight are primary, having their shelter in Me, and ten are secondary, appearing from the material mode of goodness. Among the eight primary mystic perfections, the three by which one transforms one?s own body are anima, becoming smaller than the smallest; mahima, becoming greater than the greatest; and laghima, becoming lighter than the lightest. Through the perfection of prapti one acquires whatever one desires, and through prakamya-siddhi one experiences any enjoyable object, either in this world or the next. Through isita-siddhi one can manipulate the subpotencies of maya, and through the controlling potency called vasita-siddhi one is unimpeded by the three modes of nature. One who has acquired kamavasayita-siddhi can obtain anything from anywhere, to the highest possible limit. My dear gentle Uddhava, these eight mystic perfections are considered to be naturally existing and unexcelled within this world. The ten secondary mystic perfections arising from the modes of nature are the powers of freeing oneself from hunger and thirst and other bodily disturbances, hearing and seeing things far away, moving the body at the speed of the mind, assuming any form one desires, entering the bodies of others, dying when one desires, witnessing the pastimes between the demigods and the celestial girls called Apsaras, completely executing one?s determination and giving orders whose fulfillment is unimpeded. The power to know past, present and future; tolerance of heat, cold and other dualities; knowing the minds of others; checking the influence of fire, sun, water, poison, and so on; and remaining unconquered by others ? these constitute five perfections of the mystic process of yoga and meditation.?
If we do not know, if we are Supernatural being or not, there is very simple tests, which can show us, when we actually are not Supernatural Being. We need just put our hand on the fire flames of candle, bonfire etc. If our hand is burning and paining, then so sorry for that to say. 
By this simple test, we can humble admit, we are not Supernatural Being. Way that? In spiritually reviled scriptures like Bible, Ramayana etc, and in historic and folk stories there are quoted many cases, where are Supernatural Beings, saintly and holy people are put in fire and they are not burned in it, the flames was not set them ablaze.
For example in Holy Bible Isaiah 43:2 God assure us for His protection, ?When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.?
?When thou walkest through the fire? ? This is expressive of calamity and danger in general like passing through fire. Yet it had a literal fulfillment in the historic case of the Daniel?s Friends who were cast by Nebuchadnezzar into the burning furnace.
This real historic story in Holy Bible Daniel 3:19-27 tell us case, where Supernatural Being was not burn by fire,? Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with wrath, and his facial expression was altered toward Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego. He answered by giving orders to heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated. He commanded certain valiant warriors who were in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego in order to cast them into the furnace of blazing fire. Then these men were tied up in their trousers, their coats, their caps and their other clothes, and were cast into the midst of the furnace of blazing fire. For this reason, because the king?s command was urgent and the furnace had been made extremely hot, the flame of the fire slew those men who carried up Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego. But these three men, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, fell into the midst of the furnace of blazing fire still tied up. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astounded and stood up in haste; he said to his high officials, ?Was it not three men we cast bound into the midst of the fire?? They replied to the king, ?Certainly, O king.? He said, ?Look! I see four men loosed and walking about in the midst of the fire without harm, and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods!??
?Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the door of the furnace of blazing fire; he responded and said, ?Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, come out, you servants of the Most High God, and come here!? Then Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego came out of the midst of the fire. The satraps, the prefects, the governors and the king?s high officials gathered around and saw in regard to these men that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men nor was the hair of their head singed, nor were their trousers damaged, nor had the smell of fire even come upon them.?
?Nebuchadnezzar responded and said, ?Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, who has sent His angel and delivered His servants who put their trust in Him, violating the king?s command, and yielded up their bodies so as not to serve or worship any god except their own God.?

On one hand, we can say with full conviction, ?Any of us can reawaken on platform of Supernatural Being, and to be able peacefully control and not being distracted by our five senses and mind, and this ability can grant us Supreme Success. By regularly, sincerely and steady practising some genuine and sustainable path or/and school of Personal Development, Self Improvement or/and Spiritual path, all of us in this very life time can reawaken on the level on steady mode of goodness, sustainability and personally experience happiness, blissfulness and knowledge forever in any kind of external situations. That bound to happen, if we respect and count laws of nature, our present situation and voluntary, wisely follow Balanced and Healthy lifestyle. 
On the other hand, if we know already or by this simple fire test results, we realise, actually right now, we are not Supernatural Being and instead of balancing and harmonising our lifestyle, we are randomising it. Whimsically concoct our own idea how to be happy by harming our self and harming others, by unbalanced and unhealthy lifestyle, then we are bound to be helpless, slaves of our uncontrolled senses and mind. And naturally that lead us to frustration and end up with broken heart and relationships, emptiness, loss of wealth and fame and ultimately lead us to deep, dark depression.
Let us personally experience happiness, blissfulness and knowledge forever by sincerely taking up genuine and sustainable path of Personal Development!
