Patrick Dempsey Fine After Minor Race Car Crash

Count our lucky stars, Dr. McDreamy is OK!

As Patrick Dempsey was revvin' his engine for the final practice of the Bosch Engineering 250 at Virginia International Raceway yesterday, another car on the track lost control and was heading straight towards him...

Dempsey was driving the No. 40 Mazda RX-8, and while returning to the track after a harmless spin in the final session, a Daytona Prototype slid off course and into the grass, directly into his path.

The car hit Dempsey's vehicle, but luckily, the actor was uninjured. However, car No. 40 needed major front end and radiator repairs.

At least the precious driver's anatomy was safe!
