Download hit game Color Zen for free, via Apple Store app

Apple offers Color Zen for free through Apple Store app

The Apple Store app for iPhone has added a free content offer as previous reports indicated that it would, letting app users download the game Color Zen for free.

To download the app, open the Apple Store app and select the Stores tab. Once you've picked the store closest to you, you'll see the game offer at the top of the list, just below the store's information. Selecting the game will take you to a page, where you'll hit a button to be taken to the App Store to redeem the offer.

This is likely to be the first of several such offerings. It's unknown at this time if Apple will offer media like music, movies, or TV episodes, or stick with apps. Apple is planning a big retail push, and getting customers to use the Apple Store app is part of that push. It serves not only as a portal through which customers can buy Apple products, but also as a way to let them find the Apple Stores closest to them, and hopefully, when they want to buy an Apple device, they'll head to the nearest Apple Store over another retail location.

Anyone taking advantage and downloading the free app? What other types of incentives would you be interested in, in-app?
