Man faces fallout post Twitter Sandy hoax

NEW YORK, NEW YORK: According to CNN, a NYSE analyst is apparently in hot water this week following a string of alarming Hurricane Sandy tweets that were posted over the weekend.

Twitter user @ComfortablySmug claimed that the NYSE had been flooded over the weekend by the storm, the third floor to be exact. The message was retweeted more than 633 times and even picked up as a ?fact? by major news outlets.

That was until a blogger outed him, as a liar, and then made him apologize. Officials are pushing for criminal charges.
